Dynomometer Upgrade at RaceShack
Saturday, 10 February 2007
spanner.pngRACE SHACK are pleased to announce that we are in the process of upgrading our Mustang 1850DE chassis Dynamometer from its existing 7000 control system to Mustangs latest Powerdyne PC control system with ODBII interface making data capture with ECU controlled cars a simpler exercise.

Powerdyne PC enables us to fully integrate a drag tree into our dyno system which will make shoot outs all that more entertaining.

As well as upgrading the control system the hardware has had some attention too and we are pleased to say that we can now measure up to 2000 Rear wheel BHP and at a new maximum operating speed of 250 MPH.

The upgrades and additions means RACE SHACK retains its position as one of the premier tuning and performance houses in the UK.

Wednesday, 10 May 2006

Firstly I'd like to thank again the VW Vs V8 shoot out drivers and teams for brining what was an awesome line up of vehicles to RACE SHACK for a shoot out on our second open day

BHP figures below are rear wheel – Torque figures are calculated engine torque using roller rpm, engine rpm and measured roller torque to calculate back for engine torque actual roller torque is available but most of us are used to seeing engine torque so I've used that number for these results.
