Leave all the boxes and lines loose while you test the system once tested and proven as per the installation instructions that come with the kit – you can tide up and loom up all the wiring.

 

 


The junction box and FET box were mounted in the area behind the glove box and can be secured with impact adhesive, cable ties or sticky backed Velcro make sure they are secure in position and tidy you loom up.


The Twisted Sanity Nitrous controller can work from any sweeping voltage TPS source of via a micro switch set to give a switched ground at full throttle the Ibiza in this example has a drive by wire system that is to say the TPS is on the pedal itself and it in turn drives a stepper motor which opens and closes the throttle – with a cable driven throttle the TPS will be on the throttle body itself. Some vehicle ECU’s see controllers as an additional load and may flag errors if this is the case switch to a stand-alone micro switch which is also supplied with the kit.

 


The Nitrous bottle should be fitted as per the kit instructions – run the main nitrous line away from any heat source using the hose P clips provided in the kit


All back together and ready to run – the system can be set up ready to dyno and check nitrous jetting – in this case the jets with the kits were spot on – the results a 24 BHP gain at the wheels from a 25 BHP jets the final aim switch to 100 BHP jets and have some proper fun. The vehicle in this example has an after market induction kit with a large single pass intercooler and a seat Leon turbo and remapped ECU so it already makes significantly more power than stock.

These details are designed to give you a flavour of what’s involved with a wet system install but are only a supplement to the kit fitting instructions.

Nitrous oxide installations remain the most cost effective way to boost your HP and the use of the progressive controller means you can fine tune it to your driving style and even save different settings – one for street on for the track or strip.
