Well done to our RACE SHACK sponsored vehicles in 2006 -
Nathan Powell - Nathan's RACE SHACK Tuned twin Hyabussa engined grass track car again qualified convincingly for the UK national finals. Nathan came out strong winning one of his qualifying rounds but ultimately 2nd gear failure in one of the engines saw an end to his 2006 Nationals campaign. With gearbox problems now solved Nathan is set to attack the 2007 season - possibly in a new car! watch this space -

Laura Quinn - Laura's truly stunning V8 powered new mini grass track car running fuel injection powered by DTA set up on the RACE SHACK rollers made it to the national finals despite some bad luck early in the season. Laura chooses to race with the men and both Laura and the car showed their worth making it to the finals and taking 3rd place in very testing conditions - well done Laura! and good luck in 2007

Nigel Dobbie
- Nigel's stunning twin turbo, MOTEC efi, V8, Z06 corvette is one of the highest powered street vehicles we test and tune at RACE SHACK - it is simply a beast - Nigel, a true petrol head push's it hard too ! :) and with this years upgrade to twin ball bearing turbos supplied by Turbo Dynamics and installed and set up by RACE SHACK the car moved to the next level. Expectations were high for this years TOTB ( Ten of the best ) competition with the car strong and Nigel more than up for the event. Is there such a thing as too much power - in this case yes! Nigel started strongly but the high performance clutch in the car simply could not cope with the torque being produced by the new set up and it gave up - with a super heavy duty clutch already installed and some minor upgrades planned for the winter Nigel is set to have some more fun in this awesome street car in 2007.

Martin Charles - aka Stretch - running the numbers all season Stretch has come second in his stunning RACE SHACK Tuned Turbo beetle in the VWDRC Pro class of drag racing, and looked good with it! Upgrades this winter should see Stretch running strong again in 2007 and we look forward to seeing him at the track in 2007.

Dude Ellis - Having been on the cusp of a 12 second pass all season Dudes super strong Stateside tuning built 1914cc T1 motor with a RACE SHACK Nitrous tune has now broken into the 11's - well done all concerned - we look forward to seeing Dude at the track again in 2007.

We have already expanded our planned sponsorship for 2007 to include several one make series track cars - check back early in 2007 for full details of our sponsored racers for the coming season.
